The first series

As many friends have told me and I also have realized, my blog has become very sad... well, that is what happens when it reflects life - full of glossy pictures with emptiness beneath!! But not anymore... it is time to move on again. It is no more the time of mourning or self-pity or nostalgia. Life is calling... where am I??!!!

From tomorrow onwards, I'll begin my first theme based A-Picture-A-Day series. The first series is woven around colors. Yes, Colors. Because Holi is just round the corner and more importantly, colors is what I want - been too long amidst black and grey.

When I started exploring, I was amused how many dimensions and objects can colors take. Without many details, let's just feel the 'colors' of life. Come and be amused with me... watch this space for a new post every morning at 6:21 for next 9 days :)

बच्चा बोला देखकर मस्जिद आलीशान
अल्ला तेरे एक को इतना बड़ा मकान

बैठ कर देर तलक सुनता रहा खामोशी

कुछ भूल गये कुछ याद रहा

हर दिन हर पल
कुछ खिल रहा है
कुछ मुरझा रहा है
तुम्हारे खिलने से ज़िन्दगी चल पड़ती है
तुम्हारे मुरझाने से कुछ थम सी जाती है
और जब तुम
एक ही पल में
कुछ खिली सी
कुछ मुरझाई सी नज़र आती हो
ज़िन्दगी उस एक पल में
कभी नज़्म बन जाती है
कभी एक फोटो!!

साँप

साँप!
तुम सभ्य तो हुए नहीं
नगर में बसना भी
तुम्हें नहीं आया।
एक बात पूछूँ
उत्तर दोगे?
तब कैसे सीखा डसना,
विष कहाँ पाया?
