Sans Liberalization

सजनी पाती तब लिखूँ जो प्रीतम हो परदेस,

तन में मन में पी बसे सो भेजूँ किसे संदेस!!  

Those who abuse liberalization 

for all the evils of the day 

should ask themselves 

if it was ever possible 

in the socialist-communist 

government-controlled regime 

for a daily-wage earner 

to afford a cellphone.
